Austria’s national team is in the knockout phase of a European Football Championship for the first time in history. The ÖFB team celebrated a 1-0 victory over Ukraine in Bucharest on Monday thanks to a goal from Christoph Baumgartner (21st), finishing in second place in Group C. Their opponents in the last 16 at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday (9 p.m. CEST) are Italy, who have perhaps made the strongest impression of any finals participant so far.
